Chatswood Full Renovation

The brief

A well-built but dated home — solid bones, tired finishes. The owners wanted a complete refresh of the interior without changing the footprint, with the kitchen and bathrooms as the two big moves.

Approach

We worked top to bottom across the house in one continuous program so the family could move back into a finished home rather than living through staged works. Trades were sequenced tightly: demolition and rough-ins first, then floors, then cabinetry and tiling, then paint and fixtures. The owners stepped out for the duration and returned to a complete home.

Materials and details

• New kitchen with stone benchtops and a large island
• Two new bathrooms — full strip-out, new waterproofing, floor-to-ceiling tile
• Refinished and re-stained existing hardwood floors
• Repainted throughout in a neutral interior palette
• New skirtings, architraves and door hardware

Outcome

A home that feels new inside without losing the character of the original build. Delivered ahead of program and inside the agreed contract sum.
